Job Summary:

Bright Ideas Communication is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mid-Level Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for digital platforms, social media campaigns, and client projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on editing experience, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, digital ads, and marketing campaigns.

Work on short-form and long-form videos, including reels, ads, promotional videos, and brand content.

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts.

Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and client requirements.

Add transitions, motion elements, sound effects, music, and basic animations where required.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

Review feedback and implement revisions in a timely and professional manner.

Stay updated with video trends, formats, and platform requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).

2–4 years of professional video editing experience (agency or digital media experience preferred).

Strong command of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience editing content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).

Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animations.

Understanding of color correction and sound editing.

Creative mindset with attention to detail.
