Technical Fashion Designer

Bachaa Party is looking to hire a skilled and experienced candidate for the position of Technical Fashion Designer.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Karachi, Pakistan.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

o Develop and maintain detailed tech packs for each design, including flats, construction details, trims, stitching, fabrics, and embellishments.

o Ensure accuracy of measurements, size specs, and grading across size ranges.

o Define and communicate embellishment artwork placements and sizes (e.g., prints, embroideries, appliqués).

o Collaborate with design and product development teams to interpret design concepts into technical documents.

o Review and approve lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and samples to ensure alignment with tech pack specs.

o Conduct sample fittings and provide clear feedback and revised specs to vendors.

o Maintain version control of tech packs and track updates throughout the development cycle.

 

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

o Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design or a related field.

o 3+ years of experience in technical design, preferably in apparel (Kidswear experience and exposure to 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 is a strong plus).

o Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

o Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior, and production processes.

o Prior experience working with #export-oriented apparel companies will be an advantage.

o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
