📢 QMCC is Hiring: Tax Analyst – Tax Compliance & Accounting Support

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our Finance/Tax team and support tax compliance and accounting activities for a U.S. and Canadian business.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Support U.S. and Canadian indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions

• Assist with direct tax compliance and tax-related schedules

• Perform GL and tax account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Support responses to U.S. and Canadian tax authority notices

• Provide documentation and analysis for tax audits

• Complete assigned month-end and period-end close activities

• Prepare tax schedules, workpapers, and supporting documentation

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, AP, AR, and other business teams

• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and control testing

• Identify discrepancies, compliance issues, and opportunities for process improvement

🔹 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or financial reporting

• Experience with U.S. and/or Canadian tax strongly preferred

• Knowledge of U.S. sales tax and/or Canadian GST/HST/PST/QST is an advantage

• Strong understanding of GL accounting and reconciliations

• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting

• Strong Excel and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Strong English communication skills

• Experience working in a SOX-controlled environment is preferred

• CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or relevant professional qualification is an asset

🌎 Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote position for candidates based in Pakistan, with working hours aligned with EST / North American business hours.
