Student Counselor Specialist

Mosafir is hiring Student Counselor Specialist.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

 1. Lead and guide the counseling team while overseeing the full student visa process eligibility checks, documentation, application submission, and embassy requirements.

2. Provide accurate academic and visa counseling on programs, universities, admission criteria, and country-specific regulations, and ensure team members follow the same standards.

3. Review and verify documents for completeness and compliance, and support the team in preparing SOPs, cover letters, and financial documentation.

4. Manage and supervise end-to-end applications, including appointments, follow-ups, coordination with universities/partners, and timely updates to students and parents.

5. Stay updated on visa and immigration changes, ensure policy awareness across the team, and maintain proper case records in CRMs.

6. Handle escalated student inquiries and ensure high conversion rates by providing strong guidance, monitoring team performance, and maintaining professional communication across all channels.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

 1. Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 3–5 years of experience in student visa counseling or international education, plus 1–2 years in a team lead/supervisory role.

2. Strong knowledge of visa procedures, embassy guidelines, and international admissions, with the ability to handle end-to-end student applications.

3. Excellent communication, counseling, and documentation review skills, with strong attention to detail and professionalism.

4. Proficiency in CRMs, application portals, MS Office, and digital communication tools, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

5. Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, stay updated with visa/immigration changes, and lead the team toward performance targets.
