We are hiring “Solutions Architect” at Systems Limited (Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad).

 

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technical solutions across multi-cloud (AWS, Azure,

GCP) and hybrid environments.

Create secure and scalable architectures for enterprise workloads, data

platforms, and cloud-native applications.

Apply and advocate Well-Architected Framework principles to assess,

validate, and improve solutions.

Lead solutioning for complex data pipelines, analytics platforms, and

integration layers.

Architect security controls across all layers: network, data, identity,

infrastructure, and applications.

Implement industry compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001)

through secure design.

Collaborate with security and governance teams to ensure proactive risk

mitigation.

Design VPC architectures, hybrid connectivity (VPN/Direct

Connect/ExpressRoute), load balancing, firewalls, and service mesh.

Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance network architectures across

environments.

Define infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)

standards and practices.

Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using native and third-party tools.

Enable cost optimization, automation, and operational excellence in cloud

delivery.

Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate business

needs into technical architecture.

Present architectural recommendations and trade-offs to stakeholders and

leadership.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and

architecture reviews.

Cloud Expertise: AWS, Azure, or GCP certification (Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent highly preferred).

Networking: Strong understanding of VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, DNS, routing, peering, transit gateways, etc.

Security: IAM, KMS, encryption, firewalls, secure connectivity, zero-trust

architecture.

Data Architecture: Data lakes, warehousing, streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), ETL/ELT pipelines, and storage best practices.

IaC & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines,

observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).

Well-Architected Framework: Deep working knowledge of WAF pillars—

operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost

optimization.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience architecting solutions for regulated industries (finance,

healthcare, government).

Exposure to modern compute paradigms (containers, Kubernetes, serverless).

Background in enterprise IT infrastructure or system administration.

Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
