Senior .NET / ML Engineer

We’re Hiring: Senior .NET / ML Engineer at PsychPlus (Remote, Pakistan)

We’re looking for a Senior Data / ML Engineer who will play a critical role in strengthening our data infrastructure and integrating machine learning models into production-grade healthcare systems.

About the Role:

This role focuses on building scalable data ingestion pipelines, backend services, and ML integration workflows that power our EHR and digital health platforms. You will collaborate closely with Data Scientists to productionize machine learning models and operationalize prediction and inference workflows within our .NET ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable data ingestion pipelines (HL7, FHIR, APIs, EDI)

Develop and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) to support ML workflows

Collaborate strongly with Data Scientists to productionize machine learning models

Build services that operationalize prediction and inference workflows in real-time environments

Manage ML lifecycle processes including deployment, versioning, monitoring, and performance evaluation

Ensure secure, compliant handling of healthcare data (HIPAA standards)

Integrate third-party healthcare APIs and external data sources

Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and scalability

Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

Fluent in English

Able to work during U.S. hours

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or ML engineering

Strong experience with .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server

Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed systems

Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and large-scale data systems

Experience with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare interoperability standards (strong plus)

Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP

Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare preferred)

Strong understanding of ML lifecycle concepts such as model deployment, versioning, monitoring, and performance evaluation
