Key Responsibilities:

• Setup, configure, and maintain Magento 2.X sites across environments (Development, Staging, Production). 

• Develop custom Magento extensions and themes following best practices and coding standards. 

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Magento’s system architecture, including modular structure, dependency injection, ORM (Entity–Attribute–Value model), caching mechanisms, and request lifecycle. 

• Exhibit awareness of Magento functional flows such as product/catalog management, checkout process, order lifecycle, promotions, and customer account management. 

• Follow agile methodologies and practices around analysis, design, and development. 

• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment supporting enterprise-grade eCommerce applications. 

• Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code adhering to Magento 2 development standards. 

• Build and deploy solutions optimized for cross-platform, cross-browser environments. 

• Integrate data seamlessly with ERP, CRM, and third-party systems through APIs and web services. 

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. 

• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security, ensuring minimal downtime and fast load times. 

• Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for all developments. 

• Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

• Stay updated on Magento, Adobe Commerce Cloud, and eCommerce technology trends, applying relevant innovations. 

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and front-end developers to ensure alignment with design intent and user experience goals

Data Testing and Tracking: 

• Create unit-tests to ensure that code meets its design requirements and behaves as intended 

• Optimize and enhance web applications with tens of millions of page requests while maintaining high-performance requirements 

• Write thorough, comprehensive technical, and high-level documentation Job 

Requirements:

• Extensive technical experience in Magento 2. 

• Possess comprehensive functional knowledge of Magento. 

• Total: 5-8 Years of experience, with Minimum 5 Years with Magento. 

• Magento 2.x Certification is preferred 

• Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL. 

• Exposure on CMS, Code Ignitor as well as Javascript frameworks such as jQuery. 

• Experience in the Retail Industry would be preferred. 

• Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards. 

• Analyse, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
