Position Title: Senior Linux Embedded Developer

Job Description:

TeReSol Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux Embedded Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems development, Linux kernel programming, and device driver development, along with proven experience in developing commercial-grade software using C/C++ within an operating system environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and system architecture.

•       Implement, configure, and optimize Linux/RTOS kernels for embedded platforms.

•       Develop efficient, reliable, and reusable C/C++ code for embedded systems.

•       Design, develop, and integrate device drivers for hardware components.

•       Configure and customize bootloaders, particularly U-Boot.

•       Use Yocto to build and maintain custom Linux distributions for embedded devices.

•       Perform system debugging, testing, and performance optimization.

•       Support hardware bring-up and system-level integration.

•       Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in embedded systems development.

Required Qualifications:

•       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

•       Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems development with Linux OS.

•       Strong understanding of embedded Linux architecture and kernel internals.

•       Experience with networking protocols and communication interfaces used in embedded systems.

•       Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile / Scrum.

•       Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

Preferred Skills:

•       Experience in hardware bring-up and board-level debugging.

•       Familiarity with cross-compilation toolchains.

•       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

•       Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
