Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Accountant based in Pakistan to support UK accounting and tax work. This is a fully remote position. You will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and UK tax compliance across multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities

-Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping for clients

-Prepare and review:

 Statutory accounts

 UK Corporation Tax (CT600) returns

 UK Self-Assessment tax returns

 VAT returns (including reconciliations)

-Handle bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations

-Work extensively with accounting software including:

 QuickBooks (Online & Desktop)

 Zoho Books (mandatory experience)

 Other cloud accounting platforms as required

-Identify errors, inconsistencies, and tax issues proactively

-Communicate clearly with internal teams and follow documented processes

-Meet strict deadlines without reminders or supervision

Required Qualifications & Experience

-5–6+ years of hands-on accounting experience (non-negotiable)

-Strong UK tax experience (corporation tax, self-assessment, VAT)

-Advanced working knowledge of QuickBooks and Zoho Books

-Prior experience working with international or UK-based clients

-Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

-Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

-Prior audit experience (Big 4, mid-tier, or reputable local firm preferred)

-Experience preparing or supporting statutory audits

-Exposure to internal controls, audit working papers, or review processes
