Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in general ledger management, vendor and bank reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and month-end close. This role requires accuracy, ownership, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an EST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations

Perform vendor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with procurement and AP teams

Handle bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and ensure timely resolution of variances

Lead month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and adherence to deadlines

Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and asset registers

Oversee inventory accounting, including cost tracking, inventory reconciliations, adjustments, and variance analysis

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Ensure accurate recording of accruals, prepaids, and other adjusting entries

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5–7 years of hands-on accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting

Strong experience with vendor reconciliations and bank reconciliations

Proven exposure to fixed assets and inventory accounting

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills

Ability to work independently in a remote role aligned with EST working hours

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification

Experience working with US-based companies and US GAAP

Audit or multi-entity accounting experience
