Job Title: Oracle Developer – Textile Manufacturing

About the Role:

A.I Textiles is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our IT team. We operate a robust, established IT ecosystem that supports our core textile manufacturing operations. In this role, you will maintain system stability, resolve complex technical issues, and develop scalable improvements as our operational needs expand.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle-based applications and database solutions within our existing Oracle 12c environment.

·       Write, optimize, and troubleshoot high-performance SQL and PL/SQL code, including packages, functions, procedures, triggers, and materialized views.

·       Analyze user requirements, document processes, and design practical software solutions for manufacturing and business teams.

·       Assist with database administration tasks, including backups, recovery, performance monitoring, access control, and security enforcement.

·       Investigate application errors, data anomalies, and slow-running reports to deliver timely, permanent fixes.

·       Maintain and enhance reports, forms, workflows, and integrations utilized across the enterprise.

·       Support end-users and implement validation checks to ensure data integrity and consistency across all departments.

Required Experience & Skills

·       Proven experience developing and supporting Oracle database applications, specifically within Oracle 12c environments.

·       Strong mastery of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database design.

·       Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms/Developer or equivalent Oracle-based enterprise applications.

·       Deep understanding of database modeling, requirements analysis, and the software development life cycle.

·       Prior experience supporting software within a textile manufacturing environment, with a clear understanding of factory production and business workflows.

·       Ability to investigate technical problems independently, communicate solutions clearly, and collaborate effectively with non-technical users.

 

Preferred (Value-Add) Qualifications:

·       Experience with Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle APEX, or Oracle Reports.

·       Skills in Oracle database installation, core administration, and advanced performance tuning.

·       Familiarity with specialized textile modules: production planning, weaving, dyeing, stitching, inventory, quality control, or dispatch.
