Manager - Fraud Detection Unit

MBA or equivalent qualification from a reputable university (CGPA above 3.0). Certification in Fraud Risk will be considered an added advantage.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 

➡️ Candidates having minimum 4-5 Years of experience in digital fraud detection/monitoring, preferably with EFRMS implementation experience

➡️ Strong understanding of phishing, malware, SIM swap, fake apps, device spoofing, account takeover

➡️ Experience with root cause analysis, fraud pattern mapping, alert investigation

➡️ Familiarity with rule engines, data analytics tools, case management modules

➡️ Strong report writing, cross-functional coordination, real-time incident communication

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 

➡️ Supervise continuous monitoring of digital banking transactions using 1LINK Fractals, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management (EFRMS) dashboards and alert queues.

➡️ Ensure timely investigation and disposition of system-generated fraud alerts across all channels: ATM, IBFT, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, etc.

➡️ Classify alerts based on severity and escalate suspicious transactions for immediate blocking or customer verification.

➡️ Develop and implement custom fraud detection rules, transaction velocity checks, device fingerprinting, geo-location mismatches, behavioral analytics, and transactional risk scoring.

➡️ Periodically review and recalibrate fraud rules based on false-positive rates, missed fraud cases, or changing fraud typologies.

➡️ Lead deep-dive investigations into digital fraud incidents using data from core banking systems, EFRMS, digital banking platforms, and customer interactions.

➡️ Map fraud chains and identify compromised accounts, mule accounts, and internal/external threat vectors.

➡️ Coordinate with IT security, operations, call center, and digital banking teams to halt ongoing fraud attempts, disable access, freeze transactions, and conduct customer communication.

➡️ Deliver fraud education sessions bank wide with a focus on digital channel vulnerabilities.

➡️ Generate daily/weekly MIS reports/Dashboards.

➡️ To lead real-time and post-event digital fraud detection across enterprise-wide channels using 1link fractals and a centralized Enterprise Fraud Risk Monitoring Solution (EFRMS). 

➡️ Responsible for ensuring proactive detection, response, and control of digital banking fraud threats, minimizing financial loss and safeguarding customer trust.
