Management Trainee Officer - Textile Engineering

Position: Management Trainee Officer - Textile Engineering

📍 Location: Site-2, Near Ahsan Abad, Super Highway, Karachi

Major Responsibilities:

- Support Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency and resource utilization

- Conduct time studies, method studies, capacity analysis and line/process balancing

- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, idle time and improvement opportunities across manufacturing operations

- Collect and analyze production data to identify productivity losses and improvement opportunities

- Support Lean, Kaizen, 5S, RCA and Continuous Improvement activities

- Assist in developing and optimizing process layouts, workflows and production methods

- Prepare and maintain IE reports, productivity reports and performance dashboards

- Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Engineering and other departments on improvement initiatives

- Support waste reduction, cost reduction and productivity enhancement projects

- Participate in process evaluations and implementation of improved methods

- Gain hands-on exposure to textile manufacturing back-process operations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field

- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

- Internship or final-year academic/project experience related to Industrial Engineering / Back Process operations in the textile industry will be highly preferred

- Good understanding of time study, work measurement, process mapping, capacity analysis and productivity improvement

- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, RCA and Continuous Improvement

- Good command of MS Excel and data analysis

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment

- Textile industry experience or exposure will be an added advantage
