Management Accountant

Position: Management Accountant

Company Profile:

Mekotex (Pvt.) Ltd. in Landhi, Karachi, is looking for a competent and analytical Management Accountant to join its finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

- Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.

- Costing, pricing analysis, and profitability reporting for export operations.

- Monitor production costs, overhead absorption, and efficiency analysis.

- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.

- Assist in financial planning, decision support, and performance evaluation.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and reporting timelines.

- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and sales departments for accurate cost data.

- Support external and internal audits by providing required financial information.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Professional qualification (CA / CMA / ACCA – part qualified or qualified preferred).

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or export-oriented organization.

- Strong command of MS Excel and ERP systems.

- Sound knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and management reporting.

- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
