We are looking for a passionate Machine Learning Engineer (Entry-Level) to join our team at Horizon. Whether you are a fresh graduate or have up to 2 years of experience, this is a great opportunity to apply machine learning techniques to real-world problems while growing your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with experienced data scientists and engineers to build, deploy, and improve machine learning models that create real business impact.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models using techniques such as classification, regression, and clustering

Clean, preprocess, and transform raw data; perform feature engineering and exploratory data analysis (EDA)

Evaluate models using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, and support model optimization

Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver data-driven solutions

Assist in deploying machine learning models into production and monitoring their performance

Maintain clear documentation of models, experiments, and processes

Stay updated with the latest machine learning tools, research, and best practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong understanding of core machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, overfitting, model evaluation)

Proficiency in Python (or R) and experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch

Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and basic calculus

Experience in data preprocessing, feature scaling, and handling missing values

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Exposure to NLP or Computer Vision tasks

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Experience with big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop

Familiarity with Git for version control
