Job Description

Expando | Digital Agency is looking for a motivated Junior WordPress Developer to join our onsite team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress basics, theme customization, and a passion for learning and growing in a fast-paced digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize WordPress websites using themes and plugins

Assist in building responsive and user-friendly web pages

Customize existing themes (HTML, CSS, basic PHP)

Upload and manage website content using WordPress

Fix basic bugs and resolve layout or responsiveness issues

Coordinate with designers and SEO team for website updates

Ensure websites are optimized for speed and performance

Perform regular website updates and backups

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress CMS

Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP

Familiarity with WordPress page builders (Elementor preferred)

Basic understanding of responsive design

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

Willingness to learn and grow professionally

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Preferred (Plus Point)

Knowledge of basic SEO implementation in WordPress

Experience with WooCommerce

Understanding of website security basics
