Job Summary:

Miletap is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that products meet quality standards before release. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

*Assist in creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.

*Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.

*Identify, document, and report bugs using tools like JIRA.

*Conduct functional, regression, and system testing.

*Work closely with developers to verify bug fixes.

*Support API testing using tools like Postman.

*Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.

*Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint meetings (Agile environment).

*Ensure the application meets business requirements and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

*1+ year of experience in software testing.

*Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.

*Knowledge of manual testing concepts.

*Basic understanding of SQL and databases.

*Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

*Strong attention to detail.

*Good communication skills.

Preferred (Plus Point):

*Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium (basic knowledge).

*Basic understanding of version control tools like Git.

*Experience with CI/CD tools.

*Knowledge of performance testing tools.

*ISTQB certification is a plus.

*Knowledge of Agile methodology.
