Position: IT Officer
Location: Korangi, Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and network devices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Head Office and Branches (hardware, software, email, network issues).
- Monitor and maintain servers, systems, and network performance.
- Ensure data security, backups, and antivirus protection are up to date.
- Support system upgrades, patches, and new IT implementations in branches.
- Assist in maintaining IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required.
- Train users on basic IT systems and IT best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support or IT officer role
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., Networking, Hardware, CIT etc) are an advantage
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
