Import Executive

Pinnacle Fiber Pvt. Ltd is looking for an Import Executive for its Import/Export department.

Location: Karachi

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and hardworking candidate for the Import Executive position. The ideal candidate must be professional with a strong understanding of import processes, trade finance, and logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with banks, shipping companies, airlines, freight forwarders, custom agents, and

inland transport providers to ensure smooth movement of import consignment from supplier.

• Work closely with customs brokers to ensure accurate documentation and efficient customs

clearance procedures.

• Prepare, review, and process import bank documentation, including LC opening, ensuring

compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Track shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, vessel arrivals, and clearance timelines to avoid demurrage,

detention, and storage charges.

• Verify and reconcile commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, insurance certificates, and

other import documents before submission to banks and customs.

• Maintain organized and accurate record of shipments, customs declarations, and related

transactions.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of experience in import within textile/manufacturing industry.
