About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Control—Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of financial processes across both the Cost Control and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor project and departmental expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Review, verify, and approve cost-related documents, including purchase orders, vendor invoices, and employee expense claims (from both field and office staff) through the workflow system.
Maintain accurate cost records and tracking systems, including monitoring pending bills against issued advances to field teams.
Assist the Finance Department with:
Posting employee claim bills in SAP B1.
Adjusting employee advances and reconciling outstanding amounts.
Communicating and resolving advance-related queries via email.
Support internal audit activities to ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
B.Com / BBA (Fin) / MBA (Fin) / M.Com / ADC Finance, or a bachelors in a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in cost control, internal audit, or finance operations.
Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems will be a plus.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to question and investigate the abnormality in purchase orders / invoices.
