Position Name : Backend Engineer - IoT
Location : Islamabad - Onsite
We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer with hands on experience in IoT platforms and device ecosystems. Join our team to build reliable, secure and scalable back end systems that connect millions of devices and power intelligent services.
Key responsibilities
1- Design and implement scalable APIs and microservices for device management and telemetry ingestion
2- Build and operate message pipelines and real time processing for IoT data
3- Implement secure device onboarding, authentication and firmware update flows
4- Work with product and hardware teams to define protocols and data models
Must have
1- 4 plus years backend experience in production systems
2- Strong experience with MQTT and REST or gRPC
3- Proven experience building data pipelines and working with time series or streaming databases
4- Good knowledge of security best practices for connected devices
