Position: Assistant Manager - Costing & Budgeting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager – Costing & Budgeting to support our finance team in preparing, analyzing, and monitoring budgets and cost structures. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, cost control, and providing insights that drive operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

• Develop and maintain standard costing models and cost allocation systems.

• Monitor actual vs. budgeted expenditures and provide timely variance reports.

• Analyze product costing, overhead absorption, and profitability by product/segment.

• Support management in cost optimization initiatives and financial decision-making.

• Coordinate with production, procurement, and operations teams for cost-related data.

• Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Participate in internal audits and financial reviews as required.

• Prepare Financial reporting for management

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional qualification preferred (CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance).

• 3–6 years of experience in costing, budgeting, or financial planning roles.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and meet strict deadlines.
