Senior Officer/Executive Internal Audit

Exciting opportunity to join us as a Senior Officer/Executive Internal Audit 

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CIA, ACCA part-qualified, or CA Intermediate preferred)

1–3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector

Strong analytical and auditing skills with hands-on experience in operational and compliance audits

Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)

Willingness to travel frequently for audit assignments across regions or nationwide

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Conduct physical audits of warehouses, distributors, retail outlets, and market locations

Verify sales records, stock levels, cash handling, and customer invoices

Ensure that warehouse and distributor operations comply with company policies and SOPs

Perform system vs. physical verification of stocks and identify mismatches, pilferage, damage, or expiry issues

Review claim settlements, credit limits, discounts, and promotional schemes for validation

Monitor compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and tax documentation

Review operating expenses (fuel, rent, utilities, allowances) and identify unauthorised or inflated claims

Identify fake invoices, delayed deposits, misuse of discounts, or other irregularities

Conduct unannounced audits to check real-time operations and detect potential fraud or non-compliance

Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, evidence, and recommendations for improvement

Present findings to the Supervisor and Head of Internal Audit and follow up on corrective actions

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬:

Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies

Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability

Effective communication and report-writing skills

Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Ability to work independently and travel extensively for audit engagements
