Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager FP&A

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager FP&A to join our Finance team for the Foods Division. This role will provide strategic financial leadership by driving robust financial planning, analysis, and decision support to maximize profitability and enable sustainable growth.

Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.

• Monitor divisional financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

• Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain teams on pricing, product mix, and capital expenditure decisions.

• Oversee accurate management reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and group policies.

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across manufacturing, procurement, and distribution.

• Prepare presentations for the Board/ExCom and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including 3–4 years in FP&A, financial controlling, or divisional finance leadership within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a related sector.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and modelling.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).

• Strategic mindset with strong execution ability.

• Excellent business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proven track record of driving profitability, efficiency, and process improvement.

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
