Project Engineer – Mechanical

Imtiaz is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer – Mechanical to join our expanding team. This pivotal role involves managing project execution, including installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, Refrigeration, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance across projects in one of Pakistan's leading and fastest-growing retail chains.
Locations: Karachi & Faisalabad
Qualification:
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Experience:
6–7 years of relevant experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.
Knowledge of mechanical design, building codes, and safety regulations will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, air handling units, fan coil units, and refrigeration systems, including piping and valves.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting systems, including fire pumps, fire hose cabinets, and sprinklers.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems, including booster sets, plumbing fixtures, and respective piping.
Conduct technical evaluations to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
Perform routine site inspections and monitor MEP works.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical system issues effectively.
Prepare technical reports, system drawings, and project documentation.
Verify IPCs generated by project contractors.
Basic electrical knowledge of respective equipment will be preferred.
