We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MySQL to join our growing team in Johar Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting databases, with additional experience in PostgreSQL being a strong plus.

Experience: Min 3 Plus

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

👉 Administer, manage, and tune MySQL databases for high performance and reliability.

👉 Maintain and troubleshoot production database server issues.

👉 Configure and manage replication, clustering, and partitioning.

👉 Design, manage, and optimize indexing, stored procedures, triggers, and views.

👉 Write and optimize complex SQL statements.

👉 Manage database replications, archiving, and RDS.

👉 Ensure compliance with data security and protection standards.

👉 Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a Linux environment.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

👉 Proven expertise with MySQL (primary focus).

👉 Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL.

👉 Advanced SQL, Unix, and DBMS knowledge.

👉 Hands-on experience in replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.

👉 Strong problem-solving ability with an algorithmic mindset.

👉 Excellent communication skills.

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills:

👉 Experience with Oracle and SQL Server.

👉 Exposure to NoSQL databases.

👉 Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).

👉 Knowledge of On-Prem Databases.

👉 Awareness of security compliance frameworks.

Shift Timings: 1 PM – 10 PM
