Position Overview
QMCC is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Category / Data Analyst to support our business through data-driven insights and category performance analysis. This is a remote, part-time opportunity requiring availability every Saturday in the EST time zone.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Power BI, Python, and SQL, as well as the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights. This role requires independent working capability, strong communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze category performance, sales trends, margins, and inventory metrics.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL.
Perform advanced data analysis and automation using Python.
Generate weekly performance reports and actionable insights for leadership.
Identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities within category data.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
Provide strategic recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analytics or category analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard development).
Strong hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations).
Proficiency in Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, automation preferred).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be available to work every Saturday during EST business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in category management, retail analytics, or procurement analytics.
Exposure to forecasting models and financial performance analysis.
Experience working with international or US-based teams.

Overview
QMCC seeks a passionate and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator - Retail. This is a new role to support our growing organization! You will be responsible for providing safety leadership, collaboration, support, and coordination throughout our company. This position will report to the H&S Advisor.
Responsibilities
Follow up with work sites to ensure completion of required tasks (workplace inspections, posting OHS documentation, completion of required forms, etc.)
Follow up with work sites to ensure new employee orientation is complete and completion of OHS training courses by all employees.
Conduct monthly inspection reviews and liaise with stakeholders to address any safety concerns.
Ensure all required documents are posted on the work site’s health and safety board.
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office applications).
Excellent organization, time management , and prioritization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of English with the ability to communicate by phone and email is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with others and create effective working relationships at all levels (internal/external).
Years of Experience
A minimum of 7 years in a similar role is required.
Experience in the retail and distribution sector is considered an asset. Experience supporting multiple sites is an asset.
