About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Zonal Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the logistics sector and be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with company SOPs, and smooth coordination between operations and cashiers across the assigned zone.

Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and perform daily reconciliations for the assigned zone, resolving discrepancies promptly.
· Implement secure cash handling and deposit procedures in compliance with safety protocols.
· Review daily branch expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational efficiency.
· Check and verify expense submissions to prevent unauthorized or fraudulent claims.
· Coordinate backup staffing in the absence of cashiers, liaising with Head Office when required.
· Enforce adherence to SOPs across branch operations, including cash security, expenses, commissions, and relocations.
· Conduct surprise branch audits as per Head Office guidelines.
· Train and support new cashiers, ensuring smooth handovers and compliance.
· Act as liaison between operations and cashier teams to resolve workflow issues.
· Ensure deposits match reconciled Wackenhut/cash-in-hand amounts daily.
· Guarantee full compliance with Head Office SOPs regarding commissions, expenses, cash handling, and embezzlement risk control.

Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the logistics sector.
· Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance (or equivalent professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, etc., in progress).
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial controls.
· Ability to manage multiple branches and ensure compliance across operations.
· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· High level of integrity and attention to detail.
