Trainee Planning Engineer

The Trainee Planning Engineer supports the planning department in developing, analyzing, and maintaining construction project schedules during the pre-construction phase. This role is designed to provide structured learning and exposure to the planning function, allowing the incumbent to gain practical experience in planning tools, construction sequencing, and interdisciplinary coordination. 

Location: Rawalpindi

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the preparation of baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and work breakdown structures using tools. 

• Support in gathering and compiling data from drawings, BOQs, and technical documents to assist in developing accurate planning outputs. 

• Collaborate with internal teams including design, estimation, and procurement to gather relevant inputs required for integrated project schedules. 

• Participate in the development of progress tracking reports, dashboards, and delay analysis under the supervision of senior planning staff. 

• Learn and apply planning methodologies, codes, and client-specific scheduling standards relevant to preconstruction activities. 

• Contribute to periodic reporting by providing data-driven insights related to schedule performance, variance analysis, and critical path monitoring. 

• Attend training sessions and actively engage in hands-on tasks to accelerate technical and professional growth within the planning function.
