The Maddex is looking for a creative, adaptable, and AI-first Video Editor who understands that modern video production is no longer just editing — it’s intelligent content creation.

You will work heavily with AI-powered video generation tools including Kling, HeyGen, and Arlist to create engaging, high-quality videos for digital marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who is excited about AI, automation, rapid content production, and experimenting with new formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Kling, HeyGen, and Arlist to generate AI-driven video content at scale.

• Transform blog content into engaging short-form and long-form AI-enhanced videos.

• Combine AI-generated footage with manual editing to create polished, high-converting content.

• Add motion graphics, captions, animations, and dynamic text overlays.

• Leverage AI tools for:

Auto-captioning

Visual enhancement and upscaling

Content variations for A/B testing

• Optimize videos for web, landing pages, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and paid ads.

• Rapidly test different hooks, formats, and structures to improve engagement.

• Stay updated with emerging AI video tools and integrate them into workflows.

• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to align videos with blog strategy and marketing goals.

• Maintain fast turnaround times using automation and AI-assisted production pipelines.

Requirements:

1. No formal experience required (strong portfolio or proof of AI-generated video work preferred).

2. Hands-on experience with Kling, HeyGen, Arlist, or similar AI video 

generation platforms.

3. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

4. Comfortable experimenting with AI tools and learning new platforms quickly.

5. Understanding of performance-driven content (hook retention, watch time, CTR).

6. Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, and short-form video psychology.

7. Ability to iterate quickly and adapt to feedback.

8. Experience with motion graphics and animations (After Effects is a plus).

9. Familiarity with AI voice cloning, avatars, generative visuals, or automation workflows is a strong advantage.

10. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
