MCB Islamic Bank is inviting applications for the position of “Unit Head AML - Quality Assurance”.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Lahore

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Bachelor’s degree (16-Years) or equivalent from recognized University. Certification in AML will be encouraged.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

➡️ Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills. 

➡️ Ability to critically evaluate situations, dispute resolution and conflict management. 

➡️ Ability to anticipate needs, resourceful to suggest solutions for process improvement.

➡️ Ability to adapt well to a diverse workplace culture.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Review and approve the closure of Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) alerts to ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. 

➡️ Conduct periodic quality assurance reviews of AML/CFT investigations and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures. 

➡️ Review the effectiveness and functionality of AML monitoring systems and recommend enhancements where required. 

➡️ Oversee the quality and timely submission of AML, CFT, and regulatory reporting. 

➡️ Review and monitor Sanctions Screening and CFT processes and ensure compliance with applicable sanctions requirements. 

➡️ Coordinate with Compliance, IT, and Business Units to address quality issues, strengthen controls, and support audit and regulatory reviews.
