Technical Support Engineer

Position: Technical Support Engineer

 Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical support to customers regarding internet and connectivity issues.

* Troubleshoot *FTTH/GPON, fiber optic, ONT/ONU, routers, and network connectivity* problems.

* Handle and resolve customer technical complaints within the required time.

* Coordinate with *NOC and Field Operations teams* for complex technical issues.

* Monitor network/service issues and escalate unresolved problems to the concerned department.

* Guide customers regarding router configuration, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic network settings.

* Maintain proper records of technical complaints, troubleshooting, and resolutions.

* Perform basic network diagnostics using appropriate tools and commands.

* Ensure timely follow-up with customers until the issue is completely resolved.

 Requirements:

* Fresh candidates and candidates with relevant experience may apply.

* Basic knowledge of *TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and networking concepts*.

* Knowledge of *FTTH/GPON and fiber optic networks* will be an advantage.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.

* Willingness to work in shifts, including rotational shifts if required.
