About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead- IT Compliance to join our team. This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring that our bank’s IT/IS operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the IT Compliance team in planning, conducting and reporting the planned compliance reviews
Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, including but not limited to ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and relevant banking regulations.
Review internal policies, standards, procedures
Facilitate the external auditors during audits
Ensure timely remediation of findings
Promote a culture of compliance awareness within the IT department and across the organization

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 LA and CISA are highly desirable
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit or GRC preferably within the banking or financial services sector
Strong knowledge of IT/IS governance frameworks (ETGRMF, NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance requirements
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
