MCB Islamic Bank is inviting applications for the position of “Sr. Manager AML Reporting”.

Bachelor’s degree (16-Years) or equivalent from recognized University. Certification in AML will be encouraged.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

➡️ Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills. 

➡️ Ability to critically evaluate situations, dispute resolution and conflict management. 

➡️ Ability to anticipate needs, resourceful to suggest solutions for process improvement.

➡️ Ability to adapt well to a diverse workplace culture.

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

➡️ Manage and oversee the Top 100 Depositors Exercise, ensuring timely review and reporting. 

➡️ Coordinate and complete the Half-Yearly Compliance Certificate Exercise in line with regulatory requirements. 

➡️ Perform periodic Closed Accounts Reviews to identify and address compliance risks. 

➡️ Ensure accurate and timely Cash Transaction Report (CTR) submissions to the relevant regulatory authorities. 

➡️ Review, prepare, and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) where required. 

➡️ Manage regulatory reporting related to FATCA and Common Reporting Standard (CRS). 

➡️ Respond to and coordinate with the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU) on regulatory queries and information requests. 

➡️ Ensure appropriate High-Risk Marking of STR-related customer accounts in accordance with AML/CFT policies. 

➡️ Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely provision of information and closure of observations. 

➡️ Oversee SWIFT Screening processes to ensure compliance with sanctions and AML requirements. 

➡️ Ensure compliance with applicable AML/CFT laws, SBP regulations, FMU guidelines, FATF recommendations, and internal policies. 

➡️ Perform any other AML/CFT and compliance-related assignments as assigned by management.
