Location: Remote - Islamabad (Pakistan)

Job Description:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join QA team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in both manual and automated testing, hands-on experience with API testing, strong SQL skills, and a thorough understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web-based application.
-Perform grey-box, data-driven, and integration testing to ensure robust and high-performance software.
-Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
-Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers throughout the SDLC.
-Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives within Agile teams.
-Use tools like Quality Center (QC) or Azure DevOps for test management and bug tracking.
-Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution using defined QA processes.
-Provide detailed defect reports and support root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
-2+ years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
-Strong knowledge and practical experience in:
. SQL and database testing
. API testing and automation tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
. Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright for web application testing)
-Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies such as data-driven and grey-box testing.
-Experience with QA tools such as Quality Center (QC) and/or Azure DevOps.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Client onboarding applications exposure is a plus.
-Strong communication and documentation abilities.
-Knowledge of or exposure to the healthcare IT domain is a plus.
