Senior Executive - Procurement

Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Executive - Procurement to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize procurement processes, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure uninterrupted supply of critical technical materials.

Location: Karachi

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or a related discipline) or Supply Chain Management

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations

- Sound understanding of technical procurement, strategic sourcing, P2P processes, and process improvement methodologies

- Strong analytical, communication, coordination, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge would be an added advantage

- Working knowledge of ERP systems and digital procurement platforms

(SAP S/4HANA preferred)

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within established timelines

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MRO, engineering spares, OPEX, utilities, and technical services.

- Lead supplier sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and contract management.

- Deliver cost savings through strategic sourcing, value engineering, standardization, and supplier negotiations.

- Build and manage relationships with OEMs and key suppliers while

monitoring supplier performance and ensuring risk mitigation, lead time management, and alternate sourcing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering,

Maintenance, Projects, and Production to meet technical and operational requirements.

- Drive material standardization and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with procurement policies, contracts, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements.
