Job Summary

Macrosoft Pakistan is looking for a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests that ensure software quality and performance. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle and deliver high-quality products.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure product quality

Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams

Perform functional, regression, API, and performance testing

Analyze root causes of issues and ensure proper resolution

Maintain test documentation, test cases, and reports

Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

3–5+ years of experience in QA Automation / Test Automation

Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript 

Hands-on experience with automation tools: 

Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / TestNG / JUnit

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)

Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)

Strong knowledge of SQL and databases

Good to Have

Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Knowledge of Docker or container-based testing environments

Familiarity with DevOps & microservices architecture
