Tazij Meats & Food is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Purchase Officer to join our Procurement team. This position is ideal for professionals who can efficiently manage day-to-day purchasing operations, maintain procurement records, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

📍 Location: Tazij Meats & Food – 3.5 KM Manga Raiwind Road

Position Details

Position: Purchase Officer

Experience: 3–5 Years (FMCG / Manufacturing preferred)

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field

Salary: Market Competitive (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities

* Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders (POs).

* Coordinate with vendors for quotations, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.

* Follow up on pending purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.

* Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

* Verify quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and purchase-related documents.

* Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Accounts, and other departments regarding purchasing requirements.

* Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to avoid stock shortages.

* Maintain proper filing of procurement documents and contracts.

* Update procurement transactions in ERP/software and prepare periodic purchase reports.

* Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving procurement processes.

Requirements

* 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.

* Strong knowledge of procurement documentation and purchase order management.

* Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

* Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
