Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer - Export to support procurement operations, ensure the timely availability of packaging materials, and contribute to efficient export supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in procurement and planning of packaging materials in line with production plans and export requirements while ensuring timely availability.
- Support supplier evaluation, negotiations, and vendor performance management to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels, align procurement plans with demand forecasts and export schedules, and support cost optimization through strategic sourcing and market intelligence.
- Collaborate with Production Planning, Finance, Quality Assurance, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement operations and support new and existing product development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and data in SAP ERP to ensure timely reporting and process compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP S/4 HANA
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and stakeholder management abilities
