Officer - Strategy

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for an "Officer - Strategy" in their Strategy department:

- Qualifications: BBA or MBA from a reputable institution (majors in Strategy, Finance, or Corporate Planning preferred)

- Experience: 0 to 1 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, market research, or business analysis

- Location: Head Office, Karachi.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the formulation and evaluation of long-term corporate strategies, business models, and market expansion plans for BYD's ecosystem in Pakistan. The role involves conducting comprehensive macro-environment assessments, regulatory research, and detailed industry profiling to uncover growth drivers, risks, and emerging automotive market trends.

The individual will coordinate seamlessly with internal Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to gather cross-functional performance data, support strategic project timelines, and analyze market penetration metrics. Additionally, they will build and maintain competitor intelligence matrices, tracking competitor pricing configurations, product pipelines, and local network footprints to help protect the company's competitive edge.

Notably, the role includes contributing to data-driven strategic planning processes. The candidate will synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative data, build financial and market sizing models, and create high-impact executive presentations and research notes for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Strong analytical thinking, quantitative problem-solving, and structural reasoning skills are essential, along with excellent business presentation capabilities, advanced proficiency in Excel, and cross-departmental coordination to drive strategic initiatives effectively.
