We’re Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer (R&D) – Mywater Pakistan
Mywater Pakistan is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team in Karachi. The role involves design and development of water purification and cooling systems, from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies
CAD modeling in SolidWorks (sheet metal and plastic parts)
Conduct feasibility studies, DFMA analysis, and component selection
Work with production teams to improve manufacturability and assembly
Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 2 years of product design and development experience
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
Experience in sheet metal design, plastic injection molding, and DFMA
Knowledge of thermal systems, refrigeration, or water purification is a plus
