Big Byte Insights is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications through thorough testing and defect identification. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop testing skills while working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

   • Review and analyze business and functional requirements.

  •  Design, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

  •  Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and desktop applications.

  •  Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.

  •  Conduct functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.

  •  Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve reported issues.

  •  Validate bug fixes and ensure defects are properly closed.

  •  Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning meetings.

  •  Prepare test reports and provide regular status updates.

  •  Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

  •  6 months to 1 year of experience in Manual Software Testing.

  •  Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

  •  Knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

  •  Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.

  •  Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

  •  Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries is a plus.

  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

  •  Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.

  •  Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  •  Familiarity with automation testing concepts is a plus.

  •  ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory).
