Manager - Sampling

Position: Manager - Sampling | Knits & Woven Garments

𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager - Sampling to lead our Sampling Department for knit and woven garments. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end sampling process, ensuring timely development, quality excellence, and effective coordination with internal teams and buyers to meet customer expectations and business objectives.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

- Manage the complete sampling process for knit and woven garments, from development to sample dispatch

- Plan, prioritize, and monitor sampling activities to ensure on-time delivery

- Coordinate with Merchandising, Product Development, Pattern, CAD, Cutting, Sewing, and Quality teams for smooth execution

- Review buyer requirements, technical packs, and garment specifications to ensure accurate sample development

- Monitor sample quality, fit, construction, and finishing to meet buyer standards

- Lead and develop the sampling team to achieve productivity, efficiency, and quality objectives

- Resolve technical and production-related issues during sample development

- Ensure proper documentation, sample tracking, and reporting throughout the sampling process

- Coordinate with buyers and internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback and implement necessary revisions

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sampling efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource utilization

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀:

- Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern interpretation, and sampling processes for knit and woven products

- Excellent understanding of fabrics, trims, garment fitting, and sewing techniques

- Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills

- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD systems and PLM software will be an advantage

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion & Textile Design, or a related discipline

- 8–10 years of relevant experience in garment sampling, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

- Experience in export-oriented knit and woven garment manufacturing will be preferred
