We are looking for an experienced Manager Merchandiser – Knitwear to lead the merchandising function, manage international buyers, and ensure the successful execution of knitwear orders from development to shipment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to final shipment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and ensure timely communication.

Coordinate with sourcing, production, planning, quality assurance, and logistics teams to achieve on-time deliveries.

Negotiate prices, lead times, and commercial terms with buyers and suppliers.

Monitor order progress, production schedules, and critical paths to ensure smooth execution.

Analyze costing, margins, and profitability while maintaining customer expectations.

Resolve production and shipment issues proactively to minimize delays.

Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team while driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion & Apparel, Business Administration, or a related field.

8–12 years of merchandising experience in the knitwear/apparel export industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of knitwear manufacturing, fabric sourcing, garment costing, and export documentation.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and buyer management skills.

Ability to manage multiple international accounts and work under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP experience will be an advantage.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
