Position: Manager / Deputy Manager Planning – Job Description (Home Textile & Apparel).

Location: Landhi Industrial Area Karachi.

Job Summary:

Responsible for production planning and coordination between Merchandising and Production departments to ensure smooth order execution, on-time shipment, and proper production flow for home textile and Apparel products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage production plans according to shipment priorities and customer  

  delivery dates.

- Coordinate with the Merchandising department regarding order status, approvals, 

  artwork, trims status, and delivery commitments.

- Coordinate with Production departments for capacity planning and smooth execution of  

  orders.

- Monitor daily production status and follow up on delays, bottlenecks, and pending 

  processes.

- Ensure proper feeding of orders to production as per agreed timelines.

- Maintain production tracking reports, shipment status reports, and planning summaries.

- Analyze production performance, delays, efficiencies, and order completion status.

- Share daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports with management.

- Follow up with concerned departments to minimize backlog and improve order flow.

- Support management in achieving shipment and production targets.

- Maintain proper coordination between Planning, Merchandising, and Production teams.

- Identify operational issues and suggest improvements for better planning and execution.

The role will mainly focus on:

- Reporting & analysis

Skills Required:

- Good knowledge of production planning and order management.

- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

- Good command of Excel and ERP systems.

- Reporting and analytical skills.

- Communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required:

- 4–6 years relevant experience in Planning within Home Textile or Textile Manufacturing 

  industry.

Qualification:

- Graduate / MBA preferred
