Job Summary

We are a growing software house hiring a Junior SQA Engineer (Manual Testing) to join our QA team. Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will analyze requirements, design and execute test cases, and report and verify defects across web and mobile applications collaborating closely with developers and project managers to ensure every release meets a high quality bar.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and user stories to identify testable scenarios and edge cases.

Contribute to test planning and write clear, reusable manual test cases.

Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.

Log clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes through the full defect lifecycle, including regression after fixes.

Perform basic API testing using Postman and basic data validation using SQL.

Participate in sprint ceremonies and collaborate with developers and project managers.

Perform release verification and maintain testing documentation.

Required Technical Skills

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Bug Life Cycle.

Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.

Basic Postman (API testing) and basic SQL (data verification).

Ability to use Browser Developer Tools.

Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.

Soft Skills

Communication, analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, time management, and problem solving.
