๐Ÿ•• Working Hours: 6:00 PM โ€“ 2:00 AM (Pakistan Standard Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT / Network Support Officer to support the day-to-day IT operations and ensure optimal network performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, managing VPNs, configuring tunnels, optimizing network speed, and planning for scalability and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support to employees (hardware, software, connectivity issues).

Install, configure, and maintain network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Create and manage secure network tunnels and VPN connections across multiple locations and users.

Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring speed and reliability.

Proactively assess network infrastructure and suggest improvements for scalability and efficiency.

Conduct regular network performance tests and optimize bandwidth usage.

Manage and maintain IT assets and documentation (inventory, licenses, network maps).

Ensure system security, data integrity, and access control policies are properly implemented.

Assist in implementing disaster recovery, data backup, and network failover strategies.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend tools or practices to improve IT operations.

Coordinate with third-party vendors or ISPs for support and escalation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in IT support and network administration.

Hands-on experience with VPNs, site-to-site and remote access tunnels (IPSec, OpenVPN, etc.).

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and load balancers.

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix).

Solid troubleshooting skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Ability to assess performance bottlenecks and optimize network throughput.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA Network+

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
