Job Overview

FOXIT Private Limited is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to deploy, maintain, and support enterprise ASP.NET Core applications across cloud and on-premises environments. The role involves managing server infrastructure, ensuring secure and reliable application operations, and providing technical support. The candidate must be willing to travel to client sites, within and outside the city, for deployments, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain ASP.NET Core applications on cloud and on-premises environments.

Manage Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies.

Publish, upgrade, and maintain applications across Development, UAT, and Production environments.

Monitor system performance, server health, and application availability.

Troubleshoot application, server, database, and infrastructure issues.

Perform routine server maintenance, updates, backups, and disaster recovery support.

Configure SSL certificates, DNS, IIS websites, and application pools.

Collaborate with developers to resolve deployment and environment issues.

Maintain deployment documentation and server configurations.

Ensure system security, reliability, and high availability.

Provide production support and resolve infrastructure incidents.

Visit client sites for deployments, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support as required.

Coordinate with clients during implementation and provide technical assistance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

0–2 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, Infrastructure, or Technical Support.

Basic knowledge of ASP.NET Core application deployment and hosting.

Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and Microsoft technologies.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Knowledge of PowerShell or Batch scripting is a plus.

Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, SSL, firewalls, ports, and application hosting).

Familiarity with Hyper-V, VMware, or other virtualization technologies is an advantage.
