Deputy Manager PR and Communications

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co. is hiring “Deputy Manager PR and Communications” in their Marketing Department.

Location: Head Office – Karachi

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is required. A postgraduate degree or specialization in communications will be an added advantage.

Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience.

We are seeking a proactive and skilled PR and Communications professional to join our team. The selected candidate will play a key role in strengthening the brand's reputation by effectively managing external and internal communications. This role requires a strong grasp of media relations, storytelling, and digital PR.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure positive media coverage.
- Draft high-impact content including press releases, op-eds, news features, and talking points for company spokespersons.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with brand campaigns and overall business goals.
- Manage internal communications such as leadership messages, employee newsletters, and key organizational announcements.
- Collaborate with agencies and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of communication projects.
- Create compelling storytelling and branded content pieces for external and internal audiences.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the media landscape, especially trends in social media and digital PR.
