Position: Deputy Manager – Budgeting & Costing

Habib Oil Mills is looking for an analytical, and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Budgeting & Costing function. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to FMCG costing, budgeting, pricing analysis, and profitability management within the edible oil and related businesses.

Key Responsibilities include:

-Prepare and present monthly costing P&L for Oil.

-Develop monthly projected P&L for Edible Oil, incorporating cost, volume, and pricing assumptions.

-Review OPEX presentations and present insights in monthly OPS meetings.

-Evaluate the feasibility of trade offers, promotional schemes, and discounts, and assess their impact on overall profitability.

-Analyze cost implications of changes in product recipes, formulations, and tax structures.

-Assess the impact of marketing and promotional activities on business margins and profitability.

-Monitor local and international edible oil market trends and recommend optimal pricing strategies for consumer and industrial segments.

- Consolidate quarterly expense budgets for all cost centers in coordination with internal stakeholders and analyze variances against actuals and prior budgets.

-Present budget versus actual analysis along with next-quarter forecasts to senior management, supported by variance explanations.

-Ensure continuous accuracy of inventory through regular stock reconciliations and system validations.

-Supervise cost audit activities in compliance with SECP regulations and coordinate with auditors.

Required Education:

ACCA / ICMA / CA (part-qualified) / MBA Finance or equivalent

Experience:

3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
